One of the best ways to learn what’s working on Facebook is to see some high-converting, successful Facebook Ad examples!
And that’s exactly what I’m going to show you today.
You’ll get a peek behind the curtain at what’s working well at a 7-figure ads agency, so you can use these examples to get similar results for your clients.
Specifically, today I’m going to be showing you two text-based image ads that are working crazy well for our agency clients.
I’m also going to dial into the written copy – because having good copy is one of the #1 most important requirements for profitable Facebook ad campaigns.
Why Focus On Text-Based Image Ads?
In both of these examples I’m about to show you, you’ll be they’re both quite text-heavy.
And there’s a good reason for that.
Nearly 80% of your traffic will come from mobile devices, especially when you are running ads on Facebook and Instagram.
Because of this, you want to make sure that both your landing pages AND your ads are optimized for mobile.
Text-based image ads are always some of the top performers on mobile devices.
And despite the current video craze, we’re seeing better results with square images over video.
This type of ad tends to work especially well for lead generation (advertising a free lead magnet or webinar in exchange for an email) OR for a low-ticket offer (for example, a $47 masterclass).
Let’s get into the two high-converting Facebook ad examples!
Facebook Ad Example #1: Square Images With A Lot Of Text, Benefit-based
This is the first type of ad that’s performing super well! My team designed this one and it’s bringing in our client a ton of leads for his webinar funnel.
We’ve been using these ads for our clients a lot because:
- They’ve been performing super well!
- They look great.
- And they help us as we refresh creatives for our clients fairly often.
Refreshing creatives is the practice of making edits to the copy, images or video assets used in your Facebook ad campaigns, and it’s something we do frequently for our clients.
So back to the successful Facebook ad example above.
Why is it performing so well?
For one thing, we’re calling out our ideal client in the first line of our copy.
Right away, if you’re a homeowner, you know this ad is speaking to you!
Secondly, the exact benefit is spelled out clearly in a large font. There’s no vagueness…someone knows immediately what benefits they’ll get from this product – saving up to 70% on their mortgage.
Successful Facebook Ad Example #2: Square Images With Big Bright High Contrasting Background
The second successful Facebook ad example is an ad that I created myself.
The key to this type of ad campaign is to have a big, bright, high-contrast background.
You want to pair this with either dark letters or white letters up front.
In this case, I’ve chosen a magenta background with bold, white letters. This font also has a shadow for extra contrast.
I’ve run other versions of this ad with a bright orange background or even a lime green one.
There are a couple of reasons why this ad format is so successful.
- Attention-grabbing. The bright background with high contrast immediately draws people in.
- Simplicity. The promise of ad is simple and clear – making Facebook ads that work, every single time. People on Facebook are scrolling through their newsfeeds quickly…there’s no time to be confusing or vague.
- Authority. Showing logos of celebrity entrepreneurs I’ve worked with, such as Frank Kern, helps clients trust in my solution because of the psychological effect of third-party bias. In short, if Frank Kern and all of these big names trust my work, it helps other people trust my work, too.
