Here’s how we optimize our Facebook ad campaigns, from back to front…
Usually when it comes to advertising on Facebook, what I like to do is set my dashboard in a way that is conducive for me to make good decisions.
Facebook can be really overwhelming when it comes to metrics, it resembles an airplane cockpit because there are a lot of things going on.
Think about your car dashboard, the computer is making thousands of calculations when you are on the road. You don’t get to see all those calculations, just 2, 3, or 4.
Your Facebook dashboard should resemble the dashboard of your car. Because if you get a lot of metrics being shown to you, some of them can be confusing. Some of them are even opposed to each other!
In order to make good decisions, you need a clean dashboard, that shows you the best metrics possible for your business.
I usually divide my Facebook dashboard into 2 columns, 2 metrics. On one I have metrics that are happening within Facebook (reach, span, CTR) and on the other side I have “out of Facebook metrics” or “in funnel metrics” (leads, clicks, landing pages, page views…)
